Bridport Seaside Caravan Park

Bridport Seaside Caravan Park is located in the coastal town of Bridport, approximately 77km North-East of Launceston.

This huge caravan park has stunning views of the water and direct access to the beaches.

Most (if not all) of the caravan and camping sites have views or glimpses of Anderson Bay.

It offers powered and non-powered caravan and camping sites as well as one fully self-contained cabin.

Dogs are permitted on certain sites during the off-peak season (Tuesday after Easter to 31 October) with approval from management.

The amenities are modern and clean and the showers are lovely and hot.

The camp kitchen overlooks the water and has fridges, barbeques, kettle, toaster, an undercover seating area and a herb garden.

The caravan park has a lovely peaceful feel to it, with lots of natural vegetation offering shade and privacy.

The laundries offer coin-operated washing machines and clothes dryers, there's even an ironing board!

There is a tennis court and children's playground onsite and there is a kiosk/shop in the reception area where you can buy ice creams and play equipment such as buckets and spades.

Bridport Seaside Caravan Park is a short stroll to the town centre where there are cafes, takeaway shops and grocery stores.

A picturesque walking track is situated between the caravan park and the beach, which is very popular with locals and holidaymakers. Details of this walk will feature in a separate review.

  Drift Away Organic Shack is a peaceful retreat for two located in Police Point, approximately 73km south of Hobart. Ideal for a couple, this cute studio has stunning views of the Huon River. The shack is located on the owner's residential property, but as the main house is set well behind the shack, the house and its inhabitants go unnoticed. Aløft is located on the top level of the Brooke Street Pier on Hobart's beautiful waterfront. Situated at the end of the pier, Aløft has spectacular views of the River Derwent. It has both fine dining and funky vibes but we found that as the evening progressed, the atmosphere became more intimate. The expansive windows at the front of the restaurant allow diners to take in the view however if you'd prefer to watch the chefs in their element, you can sit around the open kitchen and watch them create. Aløft offers a nine course chefs menu which takes your tastebuds on a Tasmanian adventure. The cuisine could be described as modern Australian showcasing the best seasonal Tasmanian produce with Asian influences. We adored the chefs menu.
